ITI Electrician / Meter Installer

Job Summary

An ITI Electrician / Meter Installer is responsible for installing, testing, replacing, and maintaining electricity meters and basic electrical systems, ensuring safety and accuracy as per utility guidelines.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and maintain single-phase & three-phase electricity meters
• Perform meter testing, sealing, and wiring connections
• Identify and rectify basic electrical faults
• Ensure proper earthing and safety standards
• Record meter readings and installation details
• Coordinate with utility companies (MSEDCL / Adani / Tata Power)
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures on site
• Handle tools and electrical equipment safely

🎓 Qualifications

• ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and tools
• Reading simple electrical diagrams is an advantage

👷 Experience

• Fresher / Experienced candidates can apply
• On-job training may be provided for freshers

🧰 Skills Required

• Meter installation & wiring
• Fault detection & basic troubleshooting
• Safety awareness (PPE usage)
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights
• Basic reading & writing skills

💰 Salary (Indicative – Thane)

• Freshers: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month
• Experienced: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000+ per month
• Incentives / overtime may be applicable
